3/4D ultrasound technology is revealing much about fetal development and behavior. With ultrasound, we have learned that baby is very active long before mom feels the first "flutter." For example, 4D researchers have shown that fetuses as young as 12 weeks show the "stepping" reflex seen in newborn infants. Ultrasound truly enables parents and providers to gain a new, much more detailed understanding of what is taking place in those months before birth.
